- Adds "Upgrade Firmware" button for the Wi-Fi Module in "Other" tab.
- Changes Privacy Policy to match our parent company, HNI Corporation. The Privacy Policy can be viewed at any time using the "Privacy Policy" button in main account settings.
- Adds warning text to "Lights" control in "Other" tab.
- Adds info icon for Celsius to Fahrenheit mismatches in "Temp" tab for thermostat enabled appliances.

Not Ready for Prime Time

It’s rough! With the help of these reviews I’m able to make this work remotely as an often absent homeowner. But… seriously, can’t the professionals behind the app and the server fix these issues?

- Loses network connection. It’s a WiFi module in a metal box, it’s not going to be super resilient. I have a mesh node next to the fire place and it still manages to lose connection at times. Solution: switch off the entire fireplace with a Wemo Wi-Fi switch for a few minutes, turn back on, back in business a little after that.
- Connected to the fireplace but won’t accept changes on the app: log out of the app, then log back on. Simple enough. Once you know to do just that in this particular case.

Both these issues are documented extensively in the App Store reviews. The publisher is kind enough to read and respond to reviews which is why I decided to still get the WiFi module against the better judgement of my fireplace dealer.

PLEASE FIX THESE TWO ISSUES. It will make the world a better place. I promise.

Not good

It just doesn’t work right even after you get it to work a day later it does not work you have to to take your cover off the fireplace and reset the button and the whole spiel. The app is not good

Worst app on the planet

I am a blind user. I needed this app because the remote control that came with the fireplace has a digital display and I am unable to see it. I was really excited to find out about this app. However, ditto, ditto, ditto, ditto to everything that people are saying on here. This app does not work. I have literally got it to work for five minutes in the 48 hours since I installed it and set it up. I paid $209 for a piece of junk that doesn’t work. I don’t understand why this company cannot fix this app. I have many many many Wi-Fi devices that all work perfect. They try to be blame it on too many devices or our servers have been down. I heard that a lot that’s the story I got when I called Customer Support. no resolution to the problem. Only tell me how to restart my Wi-Fi. Reboot your router, blah blah blah blah. well, it’s been another 24 hours and I tried something different. I put completely pulled the control box out from underneath the fireplace, and the light was blinking. However, within a few seconds it went solid. My app worked perfectly after that. Put it back under the fireplace Knogo. So, I think the real problem is with bad reception underneath the fireplace and maybe they could add an antenna to it so that it comes out from under the fireplace somehow.
