Needs better error handling
Update: Not able to login for 4 hours and counting.
This morning I am unable to start the app because this app has given too much priority to its own internal advertisements on loan offerings. I keep seeing a server error’s details in the little window with a retry button that leads to an infinite loop. Instead I should see a cancel button or the modal should close on error. That’s a very egregious bug. I should never be blocked from proceeding because you can’t show me an advertisement. Get your priorities in order.
Additionally Bill Pay is still unusable, and your quick view options need a timeout. I recommend 30 seconds. Literally half the time I try to view my balance and activity there is an infinite loading spinner.
Please reach out to me if you want technical support. I’ve done mobile application development for years and it’s clear you’re in need of some help.
If a lot of these issues aren’t fixed soon, I may switch banks. In a modern world, I rely on my phone a lot, and you’re just not keeping up with my needs.
Everything was fine until the latest update
I've never had any problems with the app until now. I try to get on to check my balance and my screen gets stuck on the loading screen. I can't login or anything. I've tried deleting the app multiple times and reinstalling it and it still doesn't work. Please fix. Will change my review once the app starts working again
Update: Since last November 2016 the app was not working for me unless I was on wifi. Now that the holidays are over with I can now access my account using data. Everything works fine now. I don't know why the app was not working over the holidays but I'm happy now the app works for me.
Inactivity logout doesn’t work properly
I like to use this app to budget, but it logs me out after a period of inactivity even though I select “Keep Working” from the logout warning. Tapping on other items in an effort to convince the app that I am in fact still working has no effect on the logout countdown timer once it’s made up its mind. Then I have to log back in, go to the accounts overview, select the account I’m working on, and scroll down until I find where I left off — over and over until I’m done budgeting (or get frustrated enough to just use the website).
Other than that, the app is great. I use the mobile deposit feature every week with no problem, and it’s saved me hundreds of trips to the bank.
