Knot Guide 6.0--Best!
This is the BEST!!. Wonderful App for viewing and tying knots. (No, I don't know or work for the developers.) I love the physics of why knots work, but I'm lousy at remembering even the regular ones, so I've bought every app that looks good, and they're usually poorly illustrated, buggy, & confusing. The Winkpass developers are very responsive to requests and questions, and the app is both esthetically beautiful AND useful (I pulled out my iPhone at a picnic to figure which knots would hold 4 dogs of different sizes to one fence, with one piece of rope. It worked!, and the app's directions and illustrations are good enough to use while dealing with 4 happy, jumping dogs pulling on the rope I was tying. It's a good reference, and the iPad version is even prettier (and bigger, thus a little easier to follow). Solid, Pretty, easy UI. Very good job, Winkpass!
Anyone can tie anything with this app!!!
When I discovered that a square knot didn’t work for everything, I was in trouble.
I looked online, I looked at numerous apps. So many said that they had pictures and that they made knot tying easy. kNOT!!!!!
Fortunately I found this app - same claims, pictures, makes knot tying easy...
Well this app does just that! The pictures are clear and concise. Depending on the knot, it uses however many steps are necessary to break it down to where anyone can tie it.
I have used this app soo many times - it also tells you the appropriate knot for what you are doing. I love the ‘favorites’ feature, it makes it even easier to get to the knot you need or want.
Very useful app.
Use this app all the time.
Even turned a few on to it to get themselves so they would quit bugging ME to tie things for them.
Only suggestion I would make is pertaining to being able to differentiate between which end of rope is on top, or below when trying to tie knots and bends. Sometimes it is hard to tell for someone with an older mobile device, or inadequate vision.
Other than that, best app I've used.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
