Any Drug Question. Anytime. Anywhere
Lexicomp drug reference on mobile apps are unique in the industry for being as extensive as our online drug reference offerings. No content is abridged. Users can view more than 20 databases, featuring timely, in-depth information on drugs, natural products, interactions, medical calculations and more, whether in the hospital or on-the-go.
Provides unique features other drug information apps don’t have, like a pharmacogenomics database, IV compatibility data, drug shortage information, patient education leaflets, and the ability to reorder databases and monograph fields to customize display.
Content is stored directly on the device – clinicians can quickly answer questions even if there is a weak mobile signal or no internet connection. Used and trusted by pharmacists, physicians, nurses, advanced practice nurses, dentists, and students.
New individual users will receive a one month free trial to Lexi-Complete. At the end of the free trial, users will automatically be billed $29.99 per month via their iTunes Account for continuing access. To avoid being charged, users must cancel their free trial at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period. Users can manage settings, cancel subscriptions, or turn off auto-renewal anytime during the subscription period via iTunes Account Settings.
Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

Making the best of a bad situation
Willing to tolerate an outdated app because lexi’s information is so much better than micromedex and uptodate is harder to navigate. Biggest complaint: If it needs an update, you can’t look up ANYTHING before you update. I’ve got a nurse on the phone asking me a compatibility question, and it won’t let me look it up until I do a 3mb update. It’s irritating, because I usually use the app when I’m looking for an answer quickly.
Love this application, it is my go to clinical reference
I’ve been using Lexicomp for the last 15 years going back to their palm os/Windows Mobile software and have had nothing but a great experience. The app just keeps getting better and better and I’m surprised that physicians are complaining about the cost, as this is the holy grail of information. Yes, it will cost lots of money, but most institutions provide a subscription to you. There are some years I paid for this out of pocket, but it’s always been worth it. Keep the app updates coming, even if the development for iOS can be a challenge for Lexicomp.
Don’t even download the free trial.
I downloaded the free trial despite the terrible reviews. In the 30 days I wasn’t able to use it not even once. It’s too slow and crashes constantly. Every time I would open it to look something up, I ended up closing it several minutes later and using a different drug resource. On top of all that, I canceled it 1 month to the day and still got charged a second month. I’ll probably dispute it with my credit card company because I’ve tried to reach out to ANYONE with this company and I never get to a human. In fact it currently has a recorded message that they can’t process anything (purchases, etc) over the phone right now.
Stay far away from this. It’s not worth it. Not even a little bit. I wish I hadn’t downloaded it, I clearly didn’t need it.
