LunaSea is a fully featured, open source self-hosted controller! Focused on giving you a seamless experience between all of your self-hosted media software, LunaSea supports:
- Newznab Indexer Searching
- Wake on LAN
LunaSea even comes with support for multiple instances of applications using profiles, backing up and restoring your configuration to your filesystem, an AMOLED black theme, and more!
> Please note that LunaSea is purely a remote control application, it does not offer any functionality without software installed on a server/computer.
A minor update to improve some things before the next big update!
Note: The future 5.0.0 release will include a full rework of Radarr with many additional features, but will drop support for Radarr v0.20.x or older. Only v3.0.0 and higher will be supported to ensure the best possible support within LunaSea. I understand that many users may still be running v0.20.x, but v3.0.x includes many critical and major changes to the API making it difficult to add cross-compatability. With v3.0.x now having reached stable releases, you can easily update to v3.0.x using the web GUI.
- [Accounts] Ability to send a password reset email
- [Accounts] Associate the LunaSea website domain for better autofill support
- [Sonarr/Upcoming] Change "Not Downloaded" to "Missing"
- [Alerts/Changelog] Changelog would be shown again when restoring a backup from a previous version
- [Sonarr/Add] Fixed error log showing series ID as null
Ratings and Reviews
Really good app
This app has simplified my HTPC system so much. It connects to all my preferred automation choices, indexers, and newsreader. Setting it up was a breeze - I was really impressed how quickly I had SABnzbd, sonarr, lidarr, and radarr running perfectly, searching 4 indexers. It also features the ability to manually search which is rather unique and really useful since you can make multiple profiles. My hosted media server can run pretty much only automated, but its really convenient to be able to manually search oddball files for my home PC without even switching apps.
Definitely check this app out if you have a usenet subscription. Its a good looking smooth app, and I havent found anything for PC or iOS that does nearly as good of a job as LunaSea at streamlining managing your media server
Used for quite awhile now. It’s very useful on mobile compared to using the full webpages instead. And the interface is even better then the full webpages basic quick media management.
A good start
Really good app overall. Makes it really easy to do a lot of things from my phone. However, the biggest feature I use on the web interface is missing from the app: Filtering. I have multiple lists which add unmonitored movies, which I then go through and manually set to monitored if I want them. The app doesn’t currently have the ability to show that view. I’m hopeful that this will be added soon though
