McRun is the official app version of the well-known McMillan Running Calculator. Created by internationally recognized coach Greg McMillan, this calculator allows you to compute your running potential across different distances. You only need to input your best time from one distance and McRun does the rest. The app will tell you how fast you are capable of running from 100 yards to 100 miles. It also suggests optimal training paces based on both your fitness level and the type of runner you are.
McRun is a great way to target and train for peak performance.

Quick start guide:
- From Calculator screen enter your best time in any distance and press “calculate”
- View your equivalent race times
- Press “Workout Paces” to see recommended paces for tempo runs, long runs, easy runs, and speed workouts
- Select “Recalculate” to return to the Calculator screen
- Turn your iPhone sideways to see motivational quotes and training tips
Improve race time display so all race times appear when using list of extended distances. Compile with latest SDK for stability.

Great supplement to the website
I love McMillan running and have followed his six-step training system for years. I've been a runner my whole life (I'm 33) and read tons of Runner's World articles and running advice, and his is the most comprehensive and scientific program that works for any level of runner. To get the most out of this app, read the free article on the website under training advice - it's the whole reason I use it. Being able to control your pace and training at different paces is the single most important skill a runner can have!

If you're like me, a runner for years who just runs the same pace on every run day after day, this is a great app to take you to the next level. This app takes the guesswork out of training. Not only does it help me run my fast days at the right pace. It also helped me realize my easy days were too fast, and by making my easy days easier, I'm able to rest without taking a day off. Great app.
Great tool for runners
This is a fantastic tool for runners of all levels looking to improve their performance. Very thorough pace information to use for the purpose of building workouts as well as target race finish times based on current or recent race performance level that you input.
The layout is simple to use and it's easy to update with current race times to get updated pace zones and target finish times.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
