This was my first experience Using the eVisit on MedSTAR and it was an amazing experience .way better than going to a doctors office. I will absolutely continue to use this . it’s a very comfortable experience from your own home, and it seems like it’s going to speed up the process when I actually go to the doctors office for testing. as well as better informing the doctors about the problem since the team already knows what needs to be done before I get there kudos to the new system good job. I definitely see this being the future of health care services. I would bet they could take the same approach and use it for car problems also. People test driving the car and getting a mechanic to listen to the sounds or pay attention to the vehicle behavior that would save lots of repair fees for people that are too poor to pay a dealership. Or to trusting and getting ripped off from shady mechanics.
I am grateful for this service because I was not in the position to pay the amount of money urgent care or ER centers charge for out of pocket care. I don’t have insurance and my symptoms were getting worse. For help with common illnesses that are non life threatening and are clear to see, I think this service is perfect and cost effective for people such as myself who want help but can’t afford high priced centers. And the process is easy and smooth. Thank you MED STAR!
Can’t reach physician
This is sincerely a great idea, but the app is flawed. I saw a doctor and they stated they were going to call in two prescriptions for me; however I only received one. Because the doctor never completed and sent me a visit summary I can’t send her a message to ask about it. There is also no link for customer support even though the bottom of the FAQs state to contact customer support for other issues. Now I don’t have medicine, I can’t reach the provider, and I haven’t been able to contact customer support. It’s an excellent idea as I am way to sick to get to a doctors office, but there isn’t a way to correct errors.
