With the Mercedes me connect app on your iPhone or Apple Watch you have direct access to your vehicle at all times. View data like mileage, fuel level and more, track your vehicle’s location, or take action with features like Remote Start and Lock/Unlock. Features include:

• Locate your vehicle on a map
• View vehicle data like mileage, tire pressure, fuel level or battery charge level

I’ve had my Mercedes GLB for two weeks now and I’ve yet to be able to use this app. I contacted Mercedes Me Connect support only to be told that they have to escalate my case to a higher tier, which by the way is located in Germany (my app says “Mercedes Me Connect (USA)). After a couple of calls and being told that it’ll take some time to get me an active account, I receive an email saying my account has been deactivated at my request. Then, immediately following that email, I get another one telling me my account is fully activated and I can now use all these great amenities that the app offers. Well, not true! I logged into the app and it’s still saying pending application or it redirects me to the online portal which is impossible to use, unless you have a lot of patience and are willing to push every link on the site to find what you’re looking... it’s very confusing. This app is highly disappointing, particularly since it’s linked to the Mercedes brand. So far, other that the Mercedes Me Connect feature, I’m very happy with my new vehicle, but if this app is any indication of what’s to come with my vehicle... I’m a little nervous. Please fix this app ASAP!
Worst vehicle app ever used
I have had the privilege of moving up to owning a Mercedes last year and I cannot believe how terrible this app is and the features that are to be used by the app only. The auto start doesn’t always work and when it does it’s not like the app or auto smart will heat or cool the vehicle based on the rest of the diagnostics. The app is borderline useless. I had 2 Lincolns prior to the Mercedes and both of those vehicles had auto start on the key fob and were waaaayyy more advanced and effective than this app. When the auto start actually does work on this Mercedes app it’s not like it’s warming or cooking the interior of the vehicle which is the ONLY reason for auto start since new cars engines and oil do not need to be warmed up like older vehicles. And nevermind getting into the Lincoln app which had great features and all the features actually synced and worked all the time. It is an absolute shame that I own a world class vehicle in Mercedes E53 with an absolutely terrible vehicle sync application with this garbage app. Mercedes should be ashamed.
The primary reason to have this app is so that you can have remote start on your vehicle, since Mercedes won’t do that normally. However, it takes minutes, not seconds, to utilize on the app; and secondly, if someone unlocks the car while that whole
process is taking its time, or your car doesn’t have at least half a tank of fuel, the app still won’t do the super slow remote start. Not the fuel light on, like other manufacturers, but anything below half is a no go. People want to remote start their cars 30+seconds or so ahead of using them, say, as they’re walking out to them in the parking lot. Not ten minutes ahead from their office and not only if the car has lots of gas. It’s so ungodly slow that I often reach my vehicle before the app has even loaded. Let alone initiated the remote start process. Other vehicles I have will do remote start in under 5 seconds. This one is garbage and a let down from a luxury automaker.
