MyRepChat allows you to send and receive text messages with your clients and colleagues and to meet the stringent requirements of the financial industry. Conversations are retained, and can be reported on or archived with several major third party archiving solutions. And the best part, to your clients it is the same text messaging that they are used to, they don't need to install any special software or apps to communicate with you.

Overall a good product
I like the functionality of the app. The only thing it needs is the ability to change how long you are logged in for. There is no reason to get logged out regularly.
Comes up short
Text messages automatically create the required disclosures too close to my main message body so it looks like junk text to the receiver. Integration with Redtail is supposed make importing contacts seamless, yet you must chose contacts by “Groups” IDK what that is and I’ve been using Redtail for three years. My contacts are segregated by Status and Categories. The alternative is to import all 1700 contacts which myrepchat doesn’t recommend. Frustrated, I chose to try and import from my phone contacts. The result was a list of phone numbers to choose from with no contact names associated with them!
It should not be this challenging and I’m a better than average tech

The challenges you faced with Redtail were out of our control; however, in working with Redtail directly, I believe the issues have been resolved with some recent updates on their end. Are you able to confirm your issues still persist?
Great Features. Horrible App
Our B/D moved all advisors using Hearsay Relate to MyRepChat recently. MyRepChat appears has more integrations that will prove to be useful (Redtail Integration etc.) and more flexible voice capabilities.
However, the app itself is a huge downgrade from Hearsay. It appears this application is just a web app and is noticeable by the inconsistent UI elements. I hope IonLake will put in some resources to create proper dedicated applications. Perhaps make the mobile app more centric on the actual texting function rather than try to cram all the features from the web portal.
It is pretty embarrassing that an application looks this bad when it is being used by a large audience of financial advisors.

Thanks for the feedback. If you don't mind, can you please provide specific examples of what you do not like about the application? We have done our best to ensure the mobile app and the web app have the same features; however, we do not want anything to feel "crammed".
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
