Namely is awesome!
I think the Namely app is great! It is very helpful for an HR professional on the go. The admin user can look up contact in for for employees for anywhere which would come in handy in an emergency situation or if you just need to get a hold of someone. It makes requesting time off easy by allowing employees to do this from their phone. This makes request and approvals more efficient. The interface is modern and user friendly. Namely is developing new utilities for their platform continuously so I hope that capabilities like seeing your pay slips through the app are not far behind!
No more miscommunication amongst staff
I've been using the app for about 7 months now. I utilize it primarily to keep track of time off requests and even last minute submissions that must be reviewed and approved in order to allocate coverage on those days we may need the extra headcount. Even when I'm not in office, it's a good tool to keep myself in loop of what my team's availability is like and what kind of coverage to expect per day.
Easy to Use
As all of Namely's products are, this app is easy to use. I really like the directory. I can quickly look up a team member I need to contact, even faster than I can on the site. The app seems suited well for items that are more relevant to look up quickly and that are fast and simple to complete. It seems well thought through!
