Cannot change temperature via app
On my Oakford 580 I am able to connect the grill to the app and monitor the cook, however when trying to change the temperature up or down during a cook the app fails. I can set the new temperature, but the app just reverts back to the previous temperature si nothing changes.
Connects easily to my new grill and love the features.
Bought a Nexgrill Oakford Pellet Grill and paired it quickly with the app. Love all the features in the app, especially the fact that I can monitor my food while I’m prepping other things for dinner. Access to all these amazing recipes in the app are a plus and am looking forward to making more delicious meals.
So far not great
Running my second smoke with the Oakford 790 and the app is complete junk. It has to reconnect with the unit every time I want to check the app, won’t connect via Wi-Fi, doesn’t allow temperature changes on the fly, the app straight up does NOT WORK. Having the Wi-Fi connectivity was the number one reason I bought this grill and without it, it just a glorified Z Grill. Can’t even get any troubleshooting information without having to call their call center, which is closed of course. Not impressed.
