Doesn’t wait for page load
I love the idea and the design looks quite nice but in practice it works very poorly for me. As a QA Engineer I can’t tell you how many thousand times I have had to report bugs to folks about “doesn’t wait for page load” to web technology products. Not just Obsidian but all the others. Nearly 99% of web pages load content interactively. For Obsidian web clipper it does not work. If you clip a page, you will have a bunch of “loading” gifs and missing content everywhere. Sometimes the clicks you made on the page (such as clicking “see more”) are lost. You are better off copy pasting the page into Obsidian… Literally there is no point to this app sorry. Try clipping a static page as simple wikipedia article — I had trouble expanding the sections… YMMV

Hi! The way Web Clipper works is that it executes when you click the extension icon. If the page is not yet fully loaded you'll need to wait before clicking the extension. Content hidden behind "Show more" sections should be captured by Web Clipper, since it runs on the entirety of the DOM content. If you come across pages where the full content is not clipped, it is likely due to the Readability parsing. You can skip Readability via several methods described in our troubleshooting article:

Absolutely incredible
One of the best web clippers out there. I'm so happy to be able to reduce the number of tools I use (eg for bookmarking & capturing snippets/references). This clipper makes it so easy to do research on-the-go! And of course, this this tool has exactly the type of thoughtfulness & quality I've come to expect from the Obsidian team. Another reason I'm a customer for life with this team. 💛
Works really well
Has a high degree of customization and works really well. I’m thrilled that there’s an iOS Safari extension for this. This is exactly what I needed. I feel compelled to purchase the catalyst license because of this kind of quality - thanks Obsidian team.
I do wish it would autofill possible vaults for clipping to though.
