Worked ok - not capable of switching between WiFi and cell towers
I had to use this app for a virtual home inspection. Initially we had trouble connecting - inspector could not see my video until her restarted his computer and issued a new meeting code. When I went outside at the edge of the range of the house WiFi, we lost video connection but audio stayed connected, so I tried turning off WiFi. Turning off WiFi caused the whole call to freeze so we had to reconnect (close and relaunch the app) again. Back in the house on the cell tower signal the video started freezing again so I turned WiFi back on and again had to relaunch the app. The app doesn’t switch between WiFi and cell towers very well - an important use case for this type of work.
Terrible, never connects properly
How am I supposed to use something that doesn’t do what it claims to do?
Why does it require location and microphone to be enabled before proceeding? We have to talk over the phone in order to connect in the first place, let my Phone app handle the audio. Maybe dropping audio could help the dumb thing connect.
The person handling my inspection was never able to see through my camera. They had to lead me blindly and it ended up taking way longer than it should have. We tried reconnecting over and over again, They were never able to see my video.
They even told me they had to refresh the page each time I took a photo in order to see it. Incredibly wasteful of the persons time, stream that in as I take it at least.
Then halfway through they were suddenly unable to even see the photos after refreshing, the photos just refused to load for them I guess.
Whatever they’re paying that person to deal with this service every day, it isn’t enough.
If the video collaboration part doesn’t work in your video collaboration service you may want to figure out why.
No problems for me.
It’s Sept/2023 and I’m using an iPhone 13 Pro Max. I had no problems connecting to the AAA inspector or staying connected. The inspection was about 20 minutes with no interruptions or errors.
