Innovative and Amazing App
I have been looking for a dosing calculator to add to my service fleet for years- they all leave something to be desired. This app should not be free!!! It has everything I need to get and keep my crew on track- the ability for them to easily email me results puts it over the top.I stumbled upon the app by chance and it was the best thing that’s happened for my company as far as software ever!!! Being able to easily show my guys the relationship of chemicals and how they affect LSI gave them a more thorough understanding that a balanced pool is not always a perfectly balanced pool. Finally- what a timesaver!!! Seeing dosage requirements laid out in exact ounces instead of trying to go through the Taylor book page by page and do math.... innovative and necessessary. I’d pay for this
The new industry standard
LSI has been overlooked for 100 years in swimming polls. It’s the most important factor in protecting your pool finish and extending its life and beauty. I use this app every single day and my customers love the added value it brings to provide them their Saturation index as part of their maintenance service. No more formula and factor note cards one stop shop app for dosing and saturation index plus bonus content and videos all for free. The best pool app out there IMO. Thank you Orenda for advancing the industry to a new standard and opening eyes
LSI ... meh
With all due respect, as much as LSI’s been ignored for many decades, its importance is being way too overplayed by Orenda. If you have a plaster pool, yes, by all means feed that calcium hunger! if only to avoid horrible punched out lesions from leeching. But for vinyl and fiberglass, water can’t be aggressive when there’s little to no calcium to leech.
Furthermore, calcium scaling is a big deal, especially with saltwater generators and pool heaters. So why oversaturate the water with more calcium? Keep the pH on the low side, as well as the alkalinity, and add borates to your pool; keep the calcium reasonable, but no where near where Orenda preaches. You’ll find you’ll hardly need to clean that SWG cell or pay to clean up the scale on your heater.
