Description

With Passio GO you have the ability to see real time bus locations, schedules, and ETA. This is available for select agencies and different agencies choose to show or not show the schedules, but you can always see where the buses are and on which routes.

As an operator of a system that moves people (transit buses, shuttles, vans, etc.), you need to count them and track them. Passio applications quickly and seemlessly track your vehicles and easily count passengers tagging them with GPS coordinates and time/day as they enter and exit, including different passenger types or groups.

N.B. You can run Passio GO without any registration, use for free. Please contact us at: sales@passiotech.com to setup a Passio Account to operate your own bus system.

Nice design but could have some improvements

I wish the map was less saturated so I could see the lines of my bus routes easier. It’s not contrasting enough and is difficult to look at the lines where the buses are going. I think this is a big minus because the app my campus used before before had very easy readability on the map. Alternatively maybe even if the bus stop routes had bigger stroke lines so I could really see them.

I think the logos at the bottom are good but one looks distorted and the other is highly pixelated which makes it feel less professional. When you click the bottom options it’s nice to see that triangle to emphasize which option I’m on, but the triangle isn’t really worth it for how pixelated it is. If this was more clean and crisp I think it’d make it more professional.

I think the different route options and information and how the stops are displayed is really great. I like how I can see where the nearest stop is.

Ineptitude and lack of care

This system is intended for colleges and the students who attend said colleges. Despite this, in systems where punctuality and knowing when you have appointments is so crucial, Passio Go makes it extremely difficult to stay faithful to those obligations when it is impossible to know what the schedule for your bus might be when one of the frequent connection issues or app crashes force you to reboot the app and input your agency and route just to find that your bus had arrived and left in the 5 minutes you spent trying to fix the app.

For a concept so simple, this app consistently manages to drop the ball, and when it is the only option that many of us have, it is frustrating to say the least. If I could delete this app, I would. I write this not to say this app will never be better, but as a wake up call for the developers to treat us students more cordially, especially when they profit from our tuitions through our administrations.

I mean seriously, it’s just a map app with some dots and a glorified RSS feed of times. This shouldn’t be this hard. I understand server issues happen from time to time, but being complacent in there happening and frequency is poor work ethic and sets us college students up for failure when we can’t get to our classes or group meetings in time.

No connection. All the time.

The bus system I normally take moved from one app to this and I cannot explain how complicated it is. It continuously says “no internet” “no connection” “offline” when I very much DO have connection. From the reviews it looks like people have the same issue. I feel like this app could be great… if it worked!!! The UI is a little funny but I would be willing to look past it if the app properly connected.

Update: the connection is working a bit better and I’m bumping it up to a 3/5! The UI is still taking some getting used to and I still don’t like how certain things are a bit difficult to find, but I do like the tracking system.
