I’ve started paying my medical bills through this app and it does all the work for you. I just take a quick snapshot of the bill or enter in a little info and it does the rest. It’s great!

Did Not Connect to HSA

I tried to pay my health care bills using my HSA credit card, only to see that I would be charged a fee to do so, since the provider was not signed up. I then went through the steps to add my banking institution, and the app would not allow me to add my HSA banking account, did not recognize the institution’s name. After all this time, I am unable to use the app without being charged fees, which is prohibitive to ask the payor/user to incur.

We understand that paying a fee for a service can be frustrating. We use a well-known third party service called Plaid to help link checking and savings bank accounts securely. Plaid does strive to cover most checking account institutions, but there are some, for various reasons, that they are not able to support securely. We recommend linking a different bank account (if you have one) to Plaid. We do know that most HSA institutions will allow for you to reimburse yourself if you can go that route.

There should be a way to enter the provider info ONCE and then be able to make subsequent payments without having to add in ALL the information every month. It *says* I can use one of my previous providers but when I try to actually use it it gives errors, and the error’s endlessly loop without clear instructions on what is wrong or how to fix it.The app just seems needlessly awkward and cumbersome, like it was poorly programmed.
