Plane & Pilot is edited for today's active piston-engine pilot. Each issue is packed with pilot reports, tips to help you fly better, and the information you need to get the most from your flying dollar.
This is a free app download. Within the app users can purchase the current issue and back issues.
Subscriptions are also available within the application. A subscription will start from the latest issue.
Your subscription will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your iTunes account will automatically be charged at the same price for renewal, as stated above, within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period.
If a subscription offers a free trial, at the end of the trial period, you will be charged the full price of the subscription. You may cancel a subscription during its free trial period via the subscription settings on your iTunes account. This must be done 24 hours before the end of the subscription period to avoid being charged.
Users can register for/ login to an account in-app. This will protect their issues in the case of a lost device and allow browsing of purchases on multiple platforms.
We recommend loading the app for the first time in a wi-fi area so that all issue data is retrieved.
If your app will not load past the splash page after a first install or an update, please delete and reinstall the app from the App Store

P&P is a great magazine and the app is really nice. Some of the reviews accurately describe a problem with the app that prevents them from downloading the issues of the magazine they paid for through their subscription. I had the same problem, but solved it by deleting the app and reinstalling. The app then re-linked with my iCloud account and all of my purchased magazines were restored.
PandP Goes Online-only, but no access for paper mag subscribers?
So Plane and Pilot stopped mailing paper magazines to all subscribers and moved to a digital-only format. I install the app on my phone and table to be able to read the new issues, but no, the app is only for digital subscribers. I get the whole no publishing during COVID thing, but if you’re going to do that, at least provide a native mobile device experience (which already exists for digital subscribers). Don’t force me to read issues in a web browser.
The new app is a nightmare
After the new app installed itsself the complete library is gone and won’t restore. Even worse: no access to new issues with the app!
The only way to get the issues: online reading through your browser.
I will cancel the subscription.
