HOW TO GET STARTED

1. Download the Plegium app.

2. Follow the simple activation steps inside the app.

3. Connect your device through Bluetooth.

4. Add your emergency contacts.

IMPORTANT

The emergency alert functionalities require the following:

- Your Plegium Smart personal safety device must be connected to the Plegium app.

- Bluetooth and location services must be activated on your phone, and the Plegium app must be allowed to always access Bluetooth and location services.

- The Plegium app must be active. It can be in the background and the phone can be locked, but if the app is fully closed ("killed"), the emergency alerts will not go through. For alerts while running in the background, notifications must be enabled.

- Add at least one emergency contact with a cell phone number in the Plegium app.Plegium is free to use, and for those who want even more control over their safety, we offer optional paid subscriptions within the app.

country codes

They only have a limited amount of country codes you can use and they don’t let you manually type it out. So there really is no point in this.

The reason why we don't allow country codes to be typed in manually is to ensure that the phone numbers are added correctly in the app. Please let us know which country code you were unable to add so that we can resolve the issue as soon as possible. Disregard the last review lol, the app is in fact free, and I would suggest that you change the description of the app to reflect that

NO Customer Service

I bought three emergency buttons for family members, downloaded the app and synced it per the instructions. I tried to set up a login but there was no way to continue. I was sent into an endless loop. NO telephone number for customer service help. Seriously?????
