So many issues (but login IS fixed)

UPDATE: the devs DID get the login working for me, and so that is fixed. I think this is still generally a bad service that doesn’t work very well and has numerous structural flaws, but those are more about Vitality than the app, I think. So I *will* give credit to the devs for addressing this issue for me!

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Constant logins and verifications (even if you check all needed boxes), not logging challenges, graphical issues (doesn’t bother to mark days when you’ve checked in) - add to that all of the other garbage (my favorite is this “your steps only count if you do it in 5k increments, so 9k = 5k!,” but there are numerous other stupid decisions here) that just makes this a poor service compared to my employer’s previous program (Go365), and this is just constant frustration and irritation. But at least they’re making money off of a captive audience, and show no interest in fixing any issues!

Thank you for your feedback! We will keep this in mind as we continue to develop our program features.

Different day. Same junk.

Update: I just got the most lame response yet. Developer says to log in often. That’s it. No other response. They already know from my multiple reviews that I log in multiple times a day. That’s like starting a car that has no wheels. You’re not going anywhere. Thanks for nothing!
Broken again. What a waste of time. So tired of complaining about the app, and I wouldn’t bother but there’s over 3,000 employees that are required to use this app to get 20% off our insurance premiums. Hasn't run successfully longer than 3-4 weeks at a time without breaking again The worst ongoing issue is it not giving points for heart rate during a workout. Who can’t figure this out? The rule says you get the 15 max points if you get above 60% of your max rate during the workout. It’s ridiculous for us to give this a thought while moving between weights, machines, mats or cardio activities. Come on! We could do this with a pencil and paper, but this app can’t do basic math??? And even worse, someone can sit on the couch and turn in a “manual” workout for 10 points. But for those of us that are really working hard for at least the 45 minutes may get as little as 5 points. So based on our routine for the last 6 months when we were forced to use your app… tell me your sorry, then tell me to delete and reinstall the app, then I’ll confirm that does nothing, then you put my missing points in, then we’ll do it all again in a few weeks.

Update 5/14: Hi Nolensville, we can see you have left multiple reviews about a similar issue. In order to investigate this issue further, we will need to first locate your account. Have you tried sending us an email at Mobile_App_Communication@vitalitygroup.com?

Terrible Functionality

My employer switched from Go365 to this app several months ago and I honestly haven’t encountered such a poorly designed app in a VERY long time. It feels like the design was rushed and pushed out to the masses before it had been properly tested and vetted.
It takes forever to get the app to update steps, if you try to log certain activities it just spins forever and never uploads completely, for a while I had to use the desktop website to join challenges as the app wouldn’t allow it, the list goes on...
The app also has extreme limits on awarding points, such as only being able to earn points for steps OR workouts in a single day, not both. For steps, you only earn points in increments of 5,000, so if you walk 9,000 steps, 4,000 of them are ignored. In the weekly workout section, points are only counted if you walk a min of 10,000 steps daily, although the app incorrectly records that as 0 pts for 0-4,999 steps. When I inquired with customer service about this mistake, they were short with me and eventually stopped responding altogether.
All in all, I don’t know why we switched to Vitality, but I really wish me hadn’t. I miss Go365.

Developer Response ,

Hi @ Devynnleighh, we would like to apologize for any inconveneince you have experienced while using the Power of Vitality app. Please know we are committed to providing a better streamlined experience in our program. If you are experiencing any technical issues in the app, we kindly ask that you delete and reinstall the POV app. For further assistance, please email us at Mobile_App_Communication@vitalitygroup.com.

Regarding the points limit on physical activity, this was put in placed to encourage other areas of wellness outside of just physical activity. Please know we value your feedback as we continue to develop our program features.
