The PowerFlex app enables you to specify your EV energy demand at PowerFlex Adaptive Charging Stations. Use the app to remotely monitor your charging status as well and update your energy demand at any time should your plans change.

Easy to use, nice to see when you’ll be fully charged
Really glad my workplace offers charging. The app is really easy to use with the QR code. Faster than other EV apps where I feel like I’m clicking forever.
I like the forecasted charging profile - let’s me know when I’ll be topped off.

Hard to use
I feel like this app is really over-engineered in all of the wrong ways.
I don’t understand the grid that displays rate of charge and what the units they are referring to in the grid. I have only used their chargers once and I ended up just remotely shutting the charge off for fear of overcharging my battery. (Remote shut off is great). Turns out it was way too early so I got annoyed with the app setup and went somewhere else to complete my charge and had to stay in the area an extra hour to finish.
Asking users to go off of miles in charge session/energy delivery instead of an option to view or monitor by KWh is confusing because range of miles is dependent on driving style and shouldn’t be averaged this way.
Lastly, the sliders round to the nearest increment of “5”. Not helpful for cars with smaller battery capacities or for EV owners who are fastidious about charging to a certain percentage. I.E. car with 24KWh battery and an owner who wants to only charge it to 22KWh.
Connection to app from charger is great and setting up account was quick, but UX for this app needs a lot more work.

What is this fleet mode and why is it automatically turning on every time I launch the app? It does nothing and just gives a red x next to my car. Can’t turn off this default action??
