Have you ever come back home from work, the gym or a friends house, opened the fridge to make a meal, only to realize you forgot to buy eggs even though you passed 3 supermarkets on your way home?
ProdActive fixes that: It tracks your tasks, works out what kind of place each errand needs, quietly watches for those places as you go about your day, and notifies you when you're near one.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Add an errand
Type "buy milk" and ProdActive works out you need a supermarket.
2. Close the app and get on with your day
ProdActive searches ahead for shops that match your open errands and quietly keeps watch. No checking, no opening, no thinking about it.
3. Get told at the right moment
Walk near a matching shop and one notification arrives listing everything you could clear there. Not one alert per shop — one alert, with the closest first.
Features:
Near You — see what's close, in one glance, with a map and one-tap directions.
Tasks — pin what matters, drag to reorder, filter by category, colour-code everything to your own taste.
Calendar — your real events alongside your errands, by day, week or month, with the free gaps in your day marked so you can see where something might fit.
Deadlines — give an errand a time and get reminded before it, with 30 minutes, an hour, a day, or a custom lead time.
Routes — line up several errands and see them in order on the map.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
There is no ProdActive account, because there's no ProdActive server. Your errands and your location stay on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is tracked, nothing is sold. You don't give us an email address because we never needed one.
A NOTE ON LOCATION
ProdActive asks for background location because a reminder that only works when you open the app isn't a reminder. Using smart and un-invasive location tracking, the effect on battery life is small. You can turn it off at any time in Settings and the errand list carries on working.
