Description
Fight corruption or control the horde as RI0T places you in some of the world’s most fractious disputes.
RI0T’s creator, Leonard Menchiari, experienced rioting first-hand at the NoTAV protests in Italy as well as several other around Europe between 2012 and 2016. He created the game to tell the stories and express the feelings experienced during these clashes. What triggers the crowd to behave with such anger and aggression? Often outnumbered, what does a police officer feel like during the conflict? RI0T presents the player with the opportunity to experience both sides of the fight - a fight in which there really are no winners. Who is right and who is wrong? Experience RI0T and draw your own conclusions.
It is up to you to choose how to tackle each situation, employing different strategies and tactics in order to achieve the perfect outcome. Discover if you can dispel an angry crowd or overcome a well-equipped militia as civil crisis deepens and corruption tears the very fabric of society.

Ratings and Reviews
Almost perfect, still needs improvements.
My biggest grind with this is that sometimes the cost of police or rioters are too high and I can’t get enough people in.
In the example of rioters, sometimes non-violent rioters cost way too much and so do the media so I can’t get enough support. Then when I do get people in they leave immediately and don’t do anything so I waste points trying to keep the police away. Other times I get really close to the police line and then all the rioters pull all the way back to my line or retreat because a tear gas canister was shot at them.
In the example of the police, sometimes I get tactical units in and they don’t move far enough even though I’m backing them up with assault units. And sometimes when I have my back against the wall and I spam tactical units they don’t even get to the rioters and leave immediately, these guys are trained in fighting and pushing back rioters, not fleeing.
And the violent or assault units always leave when I could win right then and there, I spam 2 assault or violent rioters/police and as they get to the others line, they flee, why? Because a reporter from the other side showed up.
This game is fun, it just needs improvements here and there.
Very Well Done BUT
I enjoy the game a lot. I love the art style and the intent of the game to show you both sides of the story when it comes to major riots. I also love the historical scenarios that it walks you through. BUT it feels like whenever I try spawning units in at times they either just run away or just don’t do much. The little tutorial doesn’t really help either since I went along with Tactical and Ranged spam since that’s what seems like the power play but yet I still have to use assault just so the tactical units will actually move up. The only thing that needs to be fixed is the unit behavior and movements.
More ideas
Can you add more cityscapes and giving the protesters to have cars and sometimes stolen police vehicles and let the protesters have like DIY shield and stolen batons and can you add the police to have a helicopter a riot control helicopter The helicopter will aid the police and let the police have the gun ammunition non lethal it just knocks the protesters back or if the protest gets too violent like example of the protesters have like a lethal weapon the police will also have a little weapon amongst them Plus at the protesters have a helicopter that shoots or just drove all the tops from the helicopter and put unit back in take the helicopter down
