Huge downgrade!
I have been using RazorSync for a long time and the old version is by far the best. This new version has a very clunky UI and many things are hidden. The new scheduling UI is extremely hard to read. The navigation is extremely hard to get used to as they have removed all wording and replaced it with symbols. Of course If you hover over the navigation bar it will show the wording which is a very clunky feature and should be on the screen at all times. Now looking at the new service request page it is much much worse. Nothing is easily accessible and everything is hidden. The old razor had everything thing up and open easily visible without having to change screens. In my opinion this new version should be scrapped it takes everything good about the old version and throws it out the window. It would be smarter to continue on the platform you already have that has been used and loved by its customers. Continue on using what has been working and fixing the small issues it has. This new version has been nothing but a dumpster fire of uselessness and seeing all the bad reviews it has gotten and razor sync continuing to try and make it work is absolutely saddening. Your customers are telling you they do not want it but you continue to push it forward.
New App Downgraded
Wouldn’t even rate this one star. We’ve been using RazorSync for several years now and it’s had its issues here and there, but it does what we need it to for our business, and utilizing the old app was pretty simple. As of October 30th, the old app is no longer supported with Apple and I can’t get logged in to the new app. I actually tried the new version when first launched and it just had glitch after glitch. I figured since RazorSync was discontinuing the old app that most issues would be fixed, but it seems not. Paying $205/month for this service for it to not work 99% of the time will not work for our company. From the reviews on here, it seem all customers are NOT happy with this new app. I’m not sure why it was launched in the first place, the old app actually worked and was way easier to utilize. Everything seems hidden and hard to access on the new version. Very upset with this and will start looking for a new business scheduling app today, as I can’t even get the new version to sign me in so I can do my work.
Dissatisfied
I have attempted to use the Apple version of the app multiple times throughout the year, and it was unusable. We reported to RazorSync the problems we found. Recently Customer Service reps blamed customers like me because we didn’t use it enough to let them know the problems of it. Really odd when a company blames their customers for their blunders. Not a very smart idea!!! This app is unusable. I’ve had two proposals that I’ve sent to customers and the price disappears and goes back to zero and it’s happened multiple times to the same customer. This just scratches the surface of the problem with this app. I was told that engineers designed it. It’s not made for a high school graduate worker in the field and that’s exactly what it needs to be built for. Not many Service technicians in the field have college degrees thankfully. That’s all we need is more college educated people like the engineers that develop this thing.
RazorSync is leaving us hanging out to dry and they don’t even seem to care.
