Using the Redtail CRM app, you can stay on top of meetings and opportunities and stay connected to your clients, your prospects and your team:



Access your Redtail calendar, as well as the calendar of your other database users. View individually or view multiple users’ calendars at once.
See your calendar in Day, Month, or Week (with expandable agenda view for each day of the week) views.
Expand your activities to a card view on the today page to view relevant details. Quick completion or edit options are accessible from an activity’s card view (or with a left swipe on a non-expanded card).
Create, edit, assign, complete and/or delete activities. The date picker for activities features days of the week along with the date in order to facilitate ease of selection.
Add contacts and/or attendees to new activities. Edit contacts and/or attendees on existing activities.
Easily access your Contacts A-Z page and your recently viewed contacts, or search your entire database of contacts.
Quickly access your contacts’ activities, notes, accounts, contact card and details, important information, keywords and tag groups. Be prepared for every meeting, whether it occurs by schedule or by chance.
Reach out to your contacts via phone, text or primary email from any page within their contact record.
Click a contact’s address to access Maps and driving directions.
Add notes to contact records. Adding notes during or directly after a client interaction allows you to document what is important before it can slip from your mind. This also means you aren’t leaving this all-important task to the end of the day, when there may be competing pressures for your attention.
Add or edit activities, phone numbers, email addresses, physical addresses, social media addresses and/or website addresses for your contacts.
View, edit or add new opportunities to your CRM.

Always Improving

At first the app was bulky and didn’t offer a lot of functionality or mobile compatibility. But now, we have so much more and they are always making the app better which is why the mobile app is an everyday tool for my practice. Thanks Redtail team, proud graduate of the 2018 Redtail-U 🎉✌🏼

Update: if you read the review before, many of these items have since been addressed. While it took a long time, I am now extremely happy with the changes.

The major change that would help would be a change to the date selector to add the day &/or modify to select a date in a calendar format so that someone wouldn’t have to refer to the calendar on their phone to select a day. Kudos!

Old:
This review is to be constructive, and not destructive. This is a good start, but there are a lot of improvements that can be made.

1. Speed: when selecting any item, it loads very slowly. Menu is large display and could be shrunk.

2. "Today" is good, but it would be nice to switch users here.

3. Calendar: Can we have the events of the day selected load below instead of a new screen? I would like to be able to filter dates here too. Change user is slow here also.

4. Contacts: it shows "recents", but never updates after a search. We would like to quickly add a contact/prospect in the menu function and/or in "Contact" section. When going into a contact, seeing more details (holdings) in Accounts would be nice. Note comments are good, but would be better if they loaded below and flowed rather than in another screen. Activities are not loading at all.

5. Search with criteria would be greatly appreciated.

6. Adding an activity no longer syncs with iPhone calendars.

This app with some changes can easily be a 5 star app, but it is a good start.

Nice improvements in the recent update but still lacking as an app

Definitely an improvement but still has opportunities. Face ID was used in the update video but I can’t find a setting where I can enable it (it is enabled in my iPhone’s general settings but I don’t see it in the app itself). I also wish you’d include an About menu that would show the current version being used, as well as a Check for Updates button. Also, I wish that filters could be applied when searching for a specific group of contacts. The developers need to step up their game because there are other excellent CRMs out there that also integrate with our various systems but have superior mobile apps. Keep improving, and we’ll stick around.
