Been years and they still don’t have Profile Mode

That’s my biggest complaint. Second is that my fingerprint no longer works and I must type my password. And third, using it on multiple devices is a pain as you have to use multi-factor authentication a lot when you switch. (I get it, but it’s still annoying.)

Other than that it works well enough.

constantly locking me out of my account

this happens whenever i try and use the app to do something basic like check account balances or transfer money. sometimes i misspell my password once and it locks me out for an hour and sometimes there doesnt seem to be a reason. ive also been locked out for more than an hour and either had to go in person or call customer service and ask what happened and they usually dont have a good answer. not the customer service teams fault that their bank software is garbage and they've been helpful in opening my account back up but this is a huge hassle every time

the app will force log me out just as i signed in to download an update and wont let me log in again or say my account is locked for the next hour.

this happens on desktop as well and is obviously super inconvenient.

Check Deposit Sketchy

When doing online backing, a browser on a desktop is really the way to go. The SDCCU online portal works very well and is the best way to go. If you need to use your phone and it’s small screen, simple tasks like viewing your balance, recent transactions, or transferring money between account are the meat and potatoes of the tasks you want to accomplish. This app performs those functions just fine.

The problem is check deposits. This is really what you need the phone app for because it is not something you can do on your desktop. When it work, it works. And it works just fine. The problem is, more often than not, it doesn’t work. The best outcome is that the app crashes. This happens quickly and I know to move on to some other task. Sometimes, however, it pauses, or thinks for a while. Sometime the deposit goes through and sometimes it comes back with an error to try again. I try and try because there is the chance it *will* work and I do the happy dance because my check has been deposited. Or doesn’t quite work and I finally give up because I’ve been wasting too much time with the app. And I wait until tomorrow to give it another try.

To end on a positive note, the Touch ID works fine and is an amazing convenience. I hate typing in passwords on the small screen and my banking password is long and complex because of the importance of that account.
