Frustrating pairing

The pairing process was very frustrating and had to restart process multiple times to even try getting them to work. For whatever reason they would loose connection, especially the right one and i would need to star over. In the end the right stopped responding to the app/phone and i just responded with generic 2 tones heard, just so i could use the darn things and will try to go through the process again later. Not the greatest sound quality but improved my hearing in my left, which is most deficient. Would be good if the whole pairing process was a little easier

Setup is difficult

Setting up the device is a bit frustrating, first attempts I was not successful, I was ready to pack it and return it. After a couple of hours and resetting my phone I was able to set them.
They definitely work, not unnecessary amplification as matter of fact it is amazing how they clarify, on this one Sony definitely hit the target.
Just one setting for everything, the phone volume is a bit low, but it is fine, music and any multimedia are great.
So far regret, the work better than my $5K prescription ones.

To anyone still resisting a hearing correction, read this.

Absurd prices, an overwhelming number of confusing choices and mandated audiologist prescriptions kept me away from addressing my moderate hearing loss. I considered the super cheap amplifying units a waste of time and money.

The Sony OTC C10 is just what I needed. The app works fine and the hearing aids are not only professionally made and effective, they are essentially invisible. I’m not tied to some rediculous multi-year audiology program and I honestly do not feel ripped off. Great feeling. I wore them in a very noisy, echoey pub to test them out and they worked great.

The Sony E10s will be rechargeable and will have Bluetooth for audio streaming via iOS but no microphone for iPhone calls. The E10s are also significantly bigger that the C10s which use replaceable, inexpensive batteries.

I’m sold on the app and the physical product.
