For the Small Business Owner - It’s Great!

For the small business owner a.k.a. someone with a limited promotional budget, this site is terrific and offers a lot more free features than GoogleMyBusiness does for [free] website creation. Plus Strikingly will even host your website for free (provided you’re not trying have a ton of folks hit your site all at once). I’ve been using it since August 2018 and overall I am quite pleased. If you want more than the “free stuff” like e-commerce then yes you’ll have to pay but it’s not like you have to look elsewhere- they offer it at a reasonable price. Try it out. I know the free stuff is all I need (for now) and the speed it serves up the page across multiple platforms is excellent. My testmysite (part of Google Business) scores mine at 3s which is Excellent.Thank you Team Strikingly!

So far, so good! I’m on the free plan for now checking out all the awesome features before I commit to a plan as I wanted to make sure this is the right fit for my small business. I’ve tried other website builder and they really lacked eases risk features and a professional look, but not strikingly. I love how easy it was to build my own website instead of having to hire out someone else to build me a site on another platform , like I have done in the past. Having complete creative control is so much better for me and this site let’s me do it all. I especially love the app for easily checking in on my site from my iPhone.

So it started out well and everything worked good after a couple of weeks there was enormous issues with loading pictures. My pictures were loading upside down, sideways, and then not even loading at all. I reached out to tech support who was on the computer with me for 2 hours. They could not tell me what was wrong just they would be willing to assist in turning all my affected photos back to the correct position so I would not have to. I asked if I could get help from another person to get some answers, they said they would email them for me and they will contact me. No one never contacted me. I even emailed some representatives of the website to tell them about the problem but no one contacted me. Very frustrating and time consuming to be dealing with this and I’m paying a fee for this.

Rude Dismissive Service Agents Who Try to Upsell as a Solution even after 5+ Years of Patronage

I have been using this for over 5 years. In over 5 years I have never asked for a refund for anything. I subscribed to their audience thing that worked HORRIBLY!! Literally could not chat with a single solitary person. Every single time the message would fail and the client would think they were being ignored then I would have to just revert to sending a plain old email. I thought it was cancelled. I realize it hadn’t cancelled. I reach out explaining everything and not one single attempt to problem solve was made. I ask to speak to a manager for over a month and they tell me they are refusing to let a customer speak to a manager…. Like what??? Huh?? Who does that??? That is soo rude. And for this to be my first time in yearssss ever even asking for something like this. Eventually after repeatedly asking they say they consulted with one and want to offer to sell me something!!!!What??? The solution to my problem is they ask to sell me something???? HOW RUDE!!!Uncivilized, unprofessional, very rude and dismissive behavior. Highly disappointed that a company I have used for so long and never once had an issue like this with before decided to treat me like nothing but a PIECE OF MEAT after all this time. Awful. Just awful.
