Down 13 lbs in 30 days!!!

I am very thankful for this app! I have actually had it for over a year and have dabbled in using it here and there, but I never used it religiously. I’ve been doing keto off and on for over a year and was feeling very frustrated that I wasn’t really losing much weight. Keto was still great for a multitude of other reasons, but I was ready for weight loss. I knew the app well and decided it was time to really start tracking everything I was eating. I simplified my meals and plugged in EVERYTHING I was eating. Once I had created a new food in the app (after weighing to be super accurate) I would eat that same food all week. Sounds boring, but I can’t handle doing that for multiple meals each week. I only eat 1-2 times a day, so that helps. One of my meals is always a protein shake, so that helps too. Simplicity was key for me. Once I got into ketosis and was actually able to stay on track, the weight started melting off. Well, I exercise 3-5 days a week as well and that helps a lot too. I’ve lost 13 pounds in 30 days and I’m going to continue. I FINALLY FEEL GOOD and I couldn’t have done it without this simple and effective app. Thank you Stupid Simple Keto!!!!

Excellent Keto App

Stupid Simple is an excellent way to track your Keto Macros. Initially I downloaded the free one and liked it so much I upgraded within two days. I love that I can add my own food but I also love the number of preloaded food choices and the search bar. Another feature I think is handy is the calorie bank. It tracks what calories you don't use in the day, "banks" them, and displays them so you can use them some other time. Just a suggestion but I'd love a macro bank too! I also really like how the app asks you if you are ready to go to the next day. You can even go back to any previous dat to add food you forgot! The only slightly negative thing I would say is if you do add food from a previous day it does not appear to subtract the calories from the bank. Either way this app rocks!!! I have recommended it to everyone I know! Just discovered you can add notes to each day too! This app is awesome!

I love this app overall but it needs a few updates to be truly keto friendly. The main feature that’s missing is a time stamp on foods entered. A lot of people doing keto do intermittent fasting as well. Tracking when you last ate is a key part of that. The BREAKFAST LUNCH DINNER SNACK buttons are nice but not helpful. Especially when you consider a lot of us go down to 2, or even 1, meal a day. A time stamp next to the food would be more helpful when looking at your daily log so you can easily track when you ate last.

Other than that, this app is very user friendly. It’s intuitive, easily navigable and sufficiently customizable.

The only other things I’d add to my wish list is the ability to remove the 3 Quick Add buttons and the ability to track things other than food, like water, ACV, etc. It would also be nice to have the option to turn off “net carb” auto-calculating. I don’t know if the app only subtracts fiber or if it also subtracts sugar alcohols. There are different theories out there but I’d like to decide for myself how I track carbs.
