Receipts read by Apple Intelligence, and Siri on the job. READ BY APPLE INTELLIGENCE On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, receipts are now read by Apple's on-device model. It understands a receipt rather than pattern-matching it — a loyalty discount printed after the subtotal, a shop whose name is not the largest text on the page — and it works in airplane mode. Nothing leaves your iPhone, and there is nothing to set up. Other iPhones keep the built-in reader, which also got better. TALK TO IT "Hey Siri, record a tip in tabSheet" files a cash expense into your current job without unlocking the phone — from your iPhone, Apple Watch, AirPods or CarPlay. "What am I owed in tabSheet" reads back your outstanding total. "Add a receipt to tabSheet" opens straight into the camera. All three work from the Action button, Back Tap, Spotlight and the Shortcuts app, where a saved shortcut turns a valet tip into one tap. KEEP A RECEIPT OFF THE REPORT A lunch you bought yourself on a job day can stay in the job for your own records and off the client's document. It keeps its place in the grid, comes off the total, and the report numbers around it. THE REVIEW BADGE GOES SOMEWHERE "3 to review" on the Jobs screen now opens a list of every flagged receipt across every job, newest first, so you clear them in one pass instead of hunting job by job. BETTER READING FOR EVERYONE The built-in reader no longer mistakes the subtotal for the total when a coupon or loyalty discount is printed after it. Cash expenses added by voice are flagged for a quick look, since Siri reads the amount back only once. Made in the USA. Still no account, no ads and no tracking.

The biggest update since launch. A HOME SCREEN WIDGET See what you are still owed without opening the app, and tap once to photograph a receipt straight into your current job. Small and medium sizes. YOUR OWN CATEGORIES The eight built-in categories now sit alongside any you add yourself. Type one on a receipt and it is offered from then on, with its own subtotal on the report. CHOOSE THE JOB WHEN SHARING Sharing a receipt in from Photos or Mail now asks which job it belongs to, instead of always filing it into your most recent one. SHARPER READING Receipts shared in from other apps are read at full resolution now. They used to be shrunk first, which cost real accuracy on faint thermal paper. Totals, dates and currency are read more reliably, and business names that open with a number or contain an everyday word are no longer thrown away. IT LEARNS YOUR CORRECTIONS Correct a merchant once and tabSheet remembers it for that business. It now recognises businesses even on receipts printing no phone number or address, including the awkward ones where the largest text on the page is not the shop's name. A CHECK BEFORE YOU SEND Generating a report now warns you first if two receipts look like the same charge, if a line would print as zero, or if a receipt is still flagged for review. It never blocks you. One tap generates it anyway.
