Updated comments “Still a great Bible app!” The developer contacted me about the issues I was having (see below comments) and helped me to quickly resolve them. Great customer service and response - I am so impressed! Although, I’m still having some small issues with crashing but they’re working on it and I’m confident that this also will be resolved. In the interim, I’ve decided to give them a 5 star because of their diligence in trying to solve my issues. At any case, I recommend that you download this bible app - it really is a great app!******************************************************************Previous comments I used to love this app and I still think it’s somewhat awesome. That’s why a few years ago, I originally gave it 5 stars. However I’m not as thrilled with how it constantly crashes. I was in a bible study meeting and we were taking turns reading scripture. When it came to my turn to find and read a scripture, as soon as I turned the page, it crashed! And.......it continued crashing every time I turned the page! Not good! I’ve invested so much time with writing notes and highlighting scriptures as well as money on downloading commentary but unfortunately the app is unreliable. I am now giving the app 2 stars.

I was so happy when I discovered this app, that I even decided to pay for it. I thoroughly enjoyed using it because you could do everything on this Bible app that you could do on a real “paper “ Bible; but to my dismay, after the latest update, the font is super small, you can’t turn your phone horizontally to be able to see what you’re reading, better, and when your phone is in dark mode, you can’t read your notes unless you disable the dark mode. I’ve emailed them and never received a response. I’d delete this app if I didn’t have so many notes I’ve made since I bought the app. I wish they’d just correct these problems; because it really was a great app ✝️😬

I've been into daily Bible study since before my teenage years. When I started looking for Bible apps to use about 20 years ago (in my early 20's) I couldn't find an app that I was satisfied with over time. Any new Bible app I'd get would only last for a few months before I became dissatisfied with some feature or flaw with it. This app, however, has not been that way. It gets to a passage just as fast as I can find it with a traditional "paper" Bible, provides an outline of every book, has audio reading features, an extensive note/ search/ highlighting system, and doesn't seem to slow down or malfunction after taking lots of notes/ highlights like other apps I've used. Also, the daily bible reading and questions/ answers sent to my phone as a notification allows me the option of exploring a full spectrum of topics that truly pique my interest. Of the host of Bible apps I've tried, I've found nothing better. The only reason I rate it 4 instead of 5 is because of the ads I have to cancel each time I use it. Still, it's easy to cancel, and that's probably why it's a free app - not to mention the option users have to cancel all ads permanently by paying a one time fee. It's the best free Bible app and even better than most, if not, all, purchased Bible apps.

Great way way to bring forth His word. Layout is Outstanding! Just request one bit of help next update: please give us the ability to have a black background. Some, no, many people have eye problems reading with white backgrounds. Black backgrounds make it easier to read for longer periods of time. It's easier on the eyes. Thank you!FYI: This is the second time I've submitted this same review and I'm tired of being asked. Please bring the black background and color highlighting with it to fruition! Yes I know you already have color.
