Super easy to use! Thought of everything
This app is beautiful and super easy to use! It’s super easy to get insurance for the weddings I shoot where the venues require insurance. I can just buy it on the app with 3 clicks and I’m done. I get the email of my insurance certificate and can easily forward it to the venue. In the past, I had to get on the phone with my broker to as for insurance certificates each time. It was a pain and frankly I don’t think he liked working with me that much because my job was peanuts to him.
Also, just wanted to say that it’s also beautiful, not another stock photo full app. They took the time to draw illustrations which I found unique! Thank for thinking of us independent little people!
Wedding videographer coverage by the event
I took off one star because loss of my equipment can not be insured by the day for one event, but only if I pay monthly for a policy. Also a side note: it’s tough to find the daily insurance button to buy another policy if you already bought one for a different day. Hint: Look underneath the current policy on your dashboard to find the button to buy another day. Don’t hit the “get quote” button! Totally confusing. However, this insurance is otherwise perfect for a “side gig” wedding videographer like me. Many wedding venues require me to have insurance, but I don’t have enough wedding video jobs on the books to make an annual policy worth it. Thimble is a great solution. Also, once you know where to find the button as described above, it’s incredibly easy to use the app.
Fastest refund I ever had
I purchased a liability policy for a month as a handy man first month was $435 & every month the amount would go down. I got an opportunity to basically flip 8 apt. Units.
they were asking for this document along with my bid.
Within minutes of purchase I was emailed my documents it was very easy but 2 days latter I found out I did not need liability to do these units. I read that a full refund is available within a few hrs of purchase so I cancelled hoping I would get some type of refund to my surprise I got $395 back within 24 hrs.
I’ll definitely keep them in mind for the future
