Total Card 4+

The app has biometric login but it is unhelpful when logging in because it wont let you. It always says “ you are not enrolled in biometric log in” but when I log in the long way and check the settings the toggle is already pushed to green so I don’t understand. I think the company thinks they dont have to put any effort into a well performing app. We just want the things to work as they should which is not asking for too much especially since you are charging an up front annual and membership fee. Do better.

So I make my payments usually, on the 4th of each month. They are always paid out of my connected checking account. This past month, I made my regular payment on the first, and because I have a few extra funds, I made another payment (from my same checking account) on the 13th. The payment from the 13th was processed and my balance changed but my available credit stayed the same. After about 2 weeks i finally called and was told, I needed to Mail or Fax my bank statement to prove the payment had cleared and they put a suspension on my card for multiple payments. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF ANY NONSENSE LIKE THAT! I made the payment from the same account I’ve had linked to my card for years and now they’re suspending my card because I made 2 payments in one month??? If you can avoid this card, I would do so! Not only am I unable to use my card, but because I don’t have access to a fax machine, I would have to mail my bank statement and wait for them to receive it before they unlock my card! Crazies thing I’ve ever heard. OH and they told me if I pay the remaining balance I can close my card, so they will take my money from this account to close my card, but won’t take it to make an extra payment?? Horrible!!!!

I contacted Total Visa Card’s customer service, and I’m pleased to say they were very cooperative. They promptly reversed three of the disputed transactions, and only one remains under review. I appreciate their responsiveness and willingness to resolve the issue.

I’m extremely disappointed with the security system of the Total Visa card. Despite being cautious with my spending habits, I recently experienced fraudulent charges on my account. What’s most concerning is that I never used this card online or shared my information with anyone, yet unauthorized transactions still appeared.

I used the card was at a reputable gas station, yet somehow my information was compromised. To make matters worse, this card offers no transaction alerts, making it even harder to catch suspicious activity quickly.

If you’re considering this card, be aware that it lacks even basic security features that most credit cards provide. I strongly recommend monitoring your account regularly if you decide to use it. Total Visa urgently needs to improve its security system to better protect its customers.
