Excellent!

73 years I have been exercising in northern climates (WI for the most part) since the early 80’s. Much of it outside when I could. Walking, jogging, swimming, xc skiing, curling, golfing, and on and on. But we moved to FL and the heat here can be oppressive and as I’m older, it really affects me negatively when exercising. So I bought a treadmill and it is a great thing to feel energized after exercising again the way I used to be. Except it was BORING....until I found this app. This app is beautifully done, and takes me to places I can’t go in addition to places I would not go because of a fear of heights...it’s certainly a win-win for me. Try the free sampler which takes you to a variety of places...then there’s a nominal fee of 99 cents for each download. Pay only once per download then you own it...all positives, no negatives for this app. Love it!

Really great workout motivation

I love this. I'm motivated to get on the boring treadmill knowing that a new trail awaits. Each one really feels like you are in a different place. I buy a new one after each treadmill workout as my reward. The only one out of the many I have bought, that I don't like, is Big Sur. There was too much editing. You would see the trail for about 15 steps before being edited to a new part of the trail, and this continuously happened throughout the entire trail. You never felt like you got to enjoy walking the trail to a destination, not even up a full hill. 1 unfulfilling trail out of many, is not bad at all! I look forward to using this each day. I especially love the sunny trails, while I'm stuck indoors in the dreary winter time. Thank you for making this app whoever you are!

Developer Response ,

Newsy148, you're welcome, whoever you are - and thank you for being my customer! Of my now 72 trail videos, Big Sur and Domes of Yosemite were the first two - and taught me a lot of lessons. I plan to remake both of them this year; if you allow notifications from Treadmill Trails, you'll know when you can delete the current version and "restore" it to get the new version. Happy trails!

Loving this app

What I love about the app is that there are so many different scenic trails to choose from, the videos are only 99 cents each and last for 30 minutes; a few are 60 minutes. All videos are in the most beautiful locations, many in our national parks. My exercise bike has a variety of workouts but they are only 30 minutes each so this is the perfect app for me. This is so much cheaper than buying a subscription. I find the trails highly motivating. You can listen to the music provided with occasional motivational suggestion throughout or you can use your own music. They trails appear to be filmed early in the morning so you are never interrupted by having to go around other people. You have the trail all to yourself and the narrator.
