This camera works as expected and I am happy with this purchase. But I noticed the battery doesn’t stay charged even when the sun is out. It shows it is charging but I think it uses more power than the solar panel can charge. So I have to take the camera down every few days and charge it inside. Kind of a bummer. But at least it works. Connected to the internet. Have to pay for a plan monthly. Set up was easy. And I can watch it live from anywhere on my phone. I amUsing it to watch my farm animals. Night vision works great Can see everything well. Wish list for a future camera Remotely Movable. I have an indoor camera thatMoves remotely so I can see more. That would be great to have for this camera so when my animals move I can move the camera to see them from my phone

I’m mostly pleased with the app. I’ve been using it on my property for about a month now. I live 4 hours away from a piece of property that I’ve purchased. My goal is to build on it in the next year or two. But in the meantime, I wanted a way to keep an eye on it when I’m not physically there. The camera I bought and this app meet that need. There are times when the image isn’t as clear as I’d prefer, but I don’t know if that is the app or the camera. So it’s not fair to ding the app for that. My only complaint with the app so far, and the reason I’m not giving it a full 5 stars, is because it doesn’t always load the live image OR sometimes the cloud image/video just won’t load at all. I’ve complained to customer service about this. They have been very responsive. However their suggestion to the “fix” is to switch my phone off wifi to cellular data. So in those moments when images won’t load, I do that. Sometimes that “solution” works, sometimes it doesn’t. When it doesn’t, I close the app and try again until it does. So that’s annoying to me. I wish I could rely on it to load 100% of the time. I have figured out that even when an image or video from the cloud won’t load, I can hit the download button and see it in my phone’s photo folder. As I stated before, I’m using this app to keep an eye on property that I cannot visit daily. It meets my needs enough that I’m pleased with it and don’t feel the need to find a replacement. I just get super annoyed with that one quirk.

This camera itself has a lot of great features. It works well and the live video feed is amazing. I love all of that. The problem seems to be with the UCon app. It constantly asks for more and more permissions to access things on your phone that it doesn’t need access to. It crashes almost every time I open it. I always have to close all the way out of the app and then restart it to get any feed back. Even when the live video starts working, it still frequently says it can’t access the photos from today, so it is just blank. I also don’t like that it downloads photos straight to my photo album. My other cam is a Tactacam and it stores all the photos in the app itself so I don’t have to have a million trail cam pics in my normal photos. Overall, the camera works well, the app is awful. I wish I had something else. Well, really I just wish the app didn’t constantly ask for access and that it would actually function as advertised, because I really do like the camera.

Had this running for maybe 3 days now. Device shows online in app. I activated the trial period. Made one angle change at the location I mounted it and now it doesn’t show live and says my 4g plan is expired. The quality was decent when it was working. Signal is good solar is good battery is full. Attempted the customer service feature and was redirected to try another customer service with no contact info. Other issues was it was not alerting me in notification with all setting set to do so both in app and on my iPhone. I even paid for the 30 day cycle storage. Did basic trouble shooting all lights showing good to go but still not even a live view. So what’s the point of this? Is the expectation to pay for every live view? Way disappointed if I could do negative stars I would. As a result of a failed device I took property damage from two loose animals came back on the property which was the point of this camera anyway. Does not pick up motion consistently I made several passes in view within 10 feet and nothing
