Excellent bank!! They have been my primary bank.
I have been a member of UKFCU since 1995, they have been helping me tremendously from building my credit to do banking. They are helpful to me as a member. They stay beside me when I need them and I am very grateful to their excellent service of banking and their loyalty to their members. I have several accounts in different banks but UKFCU is always my number one bank and my primary bank.
Mobile Deposit ? Not eligible?
I've had this bank and app for years. They added the mobile deposit option a while back. I've never used it because I live so close to the branch. But today I desperately needed to use the Mobile Deposit. I even counted on, remembering "oh yeah I can deposit the check through my phone". Because my girlfriend has Chase and she used the feature of mobile deposit on hers, so I thought I'd do the same. Nope. Never expect this bank to have anything that works properly. It just says "your account is not eligible for this service". Why? No reason provided? I can't find anything anywhere that says why. So now I'm a bit screwed cause of this backwards bank. I can't tell you how many times I've not even been able to use my debit card on a Saturday at 2pm or a Wednesday at 6:30pm, not crazy times!! Because they have some problem with their systems and everything is down. Keeping my money from me. They don't understand that things like that CANNOT HAPPEN EVER. This is just another straw on the camel.
Update has issues
Before the update, I would have given this app 5 stars. Upgrade needs some work. I had previously set up text alerts for certain account activities, and with the old site/app, the text had specified the transaction that occurred and what dollar amount/where my card was used. Now it just gives you a generic alert and you still have to log into your account to see the activity.
By far the biggest step backwards and source of frustration is trying to make a payment to my credit card because it continuously gives an error message to try again later. Very inconvenient and a hassle to make a payment when you have to try six or seven times to get one to successfully go through, and the online mobile assistance phone number couldn’t even assist with the issue. Very disappointed.
