App needs work and the Polk system is worse
$150k boat came with this Polk system. It has been a nightmare. The amps apparently aren’t really built for marine. The crossover switches cause the speakers to cut in and out if they are bumped slightly. Obviously a boat has movement.
The app is OK. The main thing I would use the app for is adjusting zone and sub levels. The slider bar is sooooooooo sloooooooow it is barely better than no adjustment.
Zone presets don’t seem to be configurable at all, so I don’t think that feature even works.
Bluetooth drops off a lot
Unfortunately, the Bluetooth drops off all the time, then fails to reconnect with my iPhone8. It requires several resets to reconnect the Bluetooth... sad in this high tech age...... seems like no standards to prevent these issues. Time to regulate!
bluetooth won’t connect
we have our polk system in our airstream globetrotter and this is the worst experience we’ve ever had with anything. bluetooth doesn’t stay connected and of course polk doesn’t provide a physical remote. we ended up using Anker bluetooth speakers to listen to music instead. polk needs to get on top of this and fix this issue.
