I love my drivers and the technology works almost all the time. Sometimes the ride will be late, especially during high demand times like rush-hour. Occasionally the navigation will take drivers in the way that you know is less efficient, but generally they will take advice from passengers. Overall, I highly recommend the service. if you were using the service to get to work, I recommend building in a decent buffer to make sure you’re not late. Almost all the time it picks me up in the earlier parts of the pick up and drop off window, but like I said earlier, every once in a while, it will not. Using the app has saved me hundreds of dollars in fuel and parking costs.

So it isn’t like it comes door to door which is fine but when it gives you a location that is a twenty-five minute walk and says your driver will be there in 5-10 not a great situation. After they get there you have one minute or they leave. It is hard to say if you will make a bud connection since it doesn’t meet the buses you will have to take a chance that they aren’t picking up another passenger or two at least with the bus you have a schedule so you know when it will be there it probably doesn’t have many passengers yet so there aren’t too long of wait between 10-20 but I expect once it does it will be nightmare of wait times. Probably double or triple the time from now. Wish more thought went into it. It will be impossible, to get somewhere on time. The driver said it really is for ahead of time pick up so you would have to plan a day or two in advance, which doesn’t work when you have to work until done and need to get to another location it could be iffy so not really helpful unless you have a set schedule.

The drivers for the most part are awesome, however the service itself leaves A LOT to be desired. Honestly miss the idea of being able to count on a bus every hr/30 minutes. First the drop off/ pickup points can be inconvenient and even unsafe, as if whoever decided on the locations of them doesn’t actually go to the place they choose which is not the brightest idea. Also the service hours are more of a suggestion because if it is within the first or last hour of service you likely are not going to be able to get a ride because of the way the system is set up. the location services do not work properly and timing is also a suggestion as if they are short a driver you can expect to be late. I just wish VIA would spend the time and money to actually make the service something that accommodates those in node of rides to and from places without it seeming like they cut corners to save money when taxes and fares pay for all of the services.
