I *LOVE* this app

I *NEVER* thought I’d love this app as much as I do but it is AMAZING. As someone who was chronically using rideshare apps to get around, I felt the uptick in prices in my pocket and needed to find a better way to get around. Using metro micro has completely changed the game for me! YOU CANNOT BEAT THE PRICE. $1 to get around within your zone is the best deal I’ve ever heard of and it’s wonderful knowing the drivers getting me around are actually getting paid properly by their employers and receiving benefits. I’m lucky enough to have my home, job, and more than one friend living within my local zone so I can get around everywhere I need with ease! I appreciate that Micro isn’t trying to mimic other ride share apps, it’s not trying to be lyft or uber with it’s design and conceptualization. The scheduled rides are nice because I can set when I’m heading out and know my ride will get there within my set time slot as opposed to ordering a ride the moment I need it and praying it doesn’t take 30 mins to get to me like on other apps. Additionally, since it doesn’t rely on gig workers I know my ride won’t be canceled leaving me stranded which makes the system feel super dependable. I can’t say enough good things! It took me a second to figure it out but when you look at it as it’s own system instead of just another rideshare app, it’s amazing! I can’t wait until the program expands the zones and hope more people try out this amazing service!

Greatest means of transportation in LA area via MM

We all know catching a public transportation/bus is almost useless here in LA because the bus stops and route are just not very rider friendly nor the frequency of buses that come are acceptable. This cute little means of transportation is best idea ever for angelenos. I’ve been riding it since fall 2022 and loving it! Yes you have to sometimes wait a little more than requested time but given its pricing and availability, people should be glad to do that or people better not complain! They can pay Uber or Lyft $20 to travel within the neighborhood. Even those rides here services sometimes don’t arrive on time or even cancel on you. Plus this is more reliable and trustworthy sponsored vehicle. I want this program to expand and stay for many years to come! But I’m sure when it becomes official program within Metro, each ride won’t be $1. I think $2 would be an appropriate price in my opinion but I’m sure it will be more like $3? 😞 Nonetheless, just glad to see some sort of “working” public transportation service in/around LA!! Go MetroMicro! 👍🏻👏🏻👊🏻

Get what you pay for

I use metro micro to get around places almost daily. Often times I experience the same issues over and over. Sometimes I would order a metro micro in advance and 9 times out of 10, it would come late. Or if you’re really lucky, it would make you wait a long period of time just for it to get cancelled or it can’t find a driver. Lately, it’s been also taking way longer to get to my destination once I’m actually in the micro. Yesterday, I got into my micro and checked how long it would take to get there on the app. To my surprise, it said 43 minutes. It had to make 8 stops until I reached my destination. And it took around 50 minutes to get there. I was 10 minutes away from my location. Or sometimes it would drop/pickup other people before you even though your destination in the closest. Also, it’s rare to book a ride at the time you want. Often times, it would say “this area is in high demand” so it can’t locate a ride. Or other times you would have to get a ride that’s an hour later than when you actually want to get picked up. They need to get more drivers and expand their service zones. But at the end of the day, it only costs $1 to ride.
