Overall the app looks nice and works well. But it’s missing a critical feature. When the trends feature is running it deletes all of the loaded data the moment you check a text, check something on the Internet etc. It does not run in the background so you have to let it sit there for hours with that part of the app open and the setting on that keeps the page from going dim snd not touch it. If you don’t all of your data is lost immediately. This is extremely unhelpful as this would be among the most useful features of this app. Please, please, please make it run in the background as a choice so that I can watch what happens over hours or overnight. I would give this app five stars if this feature worked, but the most critical feature in the app basically doesn’t work. Please sort this basic function out.

Overall satisfaction with the app is decent but some improvements need to be made including: 1) background settings. App shouldn’t lose the history immediately upon exiting app. Give us an hour or even half hour of logging when logging mode is turned on. 2) horizontal mode! No reason the app can adapt to horizontal tiles when the phone is tilted. 3) Dark mode. No reason app can’t be responsive to the phones dark mode setting. 4) live widgets. 5) the app should be able to open the user manuals for each piece of hardware.

I upgraded my solar charger to the Victron SmartSolar 75/10 then downloaded this app on iPhone X. It works like a dream! It is great to have so much real time and historical data about how my system is working. The only issue for me is that there is no LiFePO4 battery setting as such. It has to be configured through the app which is fortunately easy and intuitive. Would be six stars if it had a default LiFePO4 setting. It would make it one of the few chargers made for (in my opinion ) the best domestic/camping/marine battery technology to date. Well done Victron! Excellent product which works seamlessly with this app!
