Can't decide where to go? Spin the compass.
The Wanting Compass points you toward a real place near you — a restaurant, a bar, a museum, a park, or somewhere you've never been — using your actual location and real map data. No endless scrolling through lists. Just a direction, a distance, and somewhere to go.
NINE WAYS TO ASK
Food · Bars & Pubs · Nightclubs · Shopping · Gym · Nature · Museums · Libraries · Travel — or pick "All" and let the compass choose the category for you.
REAL PLACES, REAL DIRECTIONS
Every result is an actual nearby location, with real walking time and distance calculated from Apple's own map data — not a guess. The needle tracks your real-world direction live: turn or walk, and it re-aims as you go, just like an actual compass.
DON'T LIKE THE RESULT?
Tap the button again for another nearby option. Results refresh automatically every few minutes, so you're never stuck seeing the same handful of places forever.
TRAVEL, ANYWHERE
Pick Travel instead of a nearby category, and the compass points to a random city somewhere in the world — with the real direction and distance to get there from wherever you are.
SPEAKS YOUR LANGUAGE
Available in English, Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, Arabic, Thai, and Russian.
No accounts. No ads. No tracking. Just a compass, and somewhere real to go.
