I typed In a number to call, it seems to me that the “call” button to dial does not work. It’s also taking long to load call history, I double check to see if my app needed an update…there isn’t any, this app has multiple flaws and is obstructive to my accessibility.
Here’s my problem. You guys have updated this, and while it looks great, there STILL is not a flash alert built into the app. I feel that this is not fully accessible for deaf people, because there’s no visual flash alert. Not everyone holds their phone all day to feel the vibrate alert. When I called ZVRS to complain about this, I was told to check the settings in my phone, blah blah blah. Then I was told to take my phone to the store to have it looked at. That was an insult. ZVRS should have the common sense to include a flash alert IN THE APP.
With this being said, I’m staying with Sorenson, because they have myRumble, which gives me the option to CHOOSE my flasher and vibrate. The choose to be fully accessible to their customers.
Good but horrible connections
I had this app for about a month and had no problems but issues appeared just a few days ago. My iPad and iPhone had NO WiFi connections at work. At first, I thought it was the modem at work but when I made a call through my iPhone (using data connection), I immediately saw LTE icon switched to Z5 icon. When I was done with the call, the Z5 icon changed to WiFi icon and then back to LTE icon. I tested my iPad by uninstalling the Z5 app and PAH! My iPad’s WiFi works!! I shouldn’t have ported from Sorenson to Z5. 😑 But the ZVRS interpreters were way better than Sorenson. 😐 Please fix or I’ll port back to Sorenson!!
