First thing to note is that they don't always get you a ride. I've requested rides a day in advance only to wake up the next morning and find out they are still searching for a taxi for me. Second thing to note is the route they take you through. I took three separate trips to the same location and had pretty significant changes to the price. The most direct route when the driver knows the area is about 12 dollars. The second drive cost me 17 dollars because the driver took a wrong then and had to backtrack. The worst driver cost me 22 dollars because she deliberately drove me around the long end of the base i was going to and kept us in traffic for 25 minutes at the entrance. On that note, keep notice of that meter. They charge .30 per quarter mile but that meter will keep going in bumper to bumper traffic and at the red lights so the drivers will incentivize getting caught a red lights (which is inconvenient when you're in a hurry). I'd use ztrip if you have to (i need them to get on base sometimes), but there's a good reason why taxi companies are getting outcompeted by guys like Uber and Lyft...

I had been hospitalized for three days and I had a ride from my son but the hospital didn’t have their stuff together and my son had to leave. I explained to them I wanted to go home but my ride was gone for the day. Eventually they came up with the idea that they call me a cab and give me a voucher. I waited and waited. Three hours pass and I decided to call the taxi service to find out what happened. I was told someone else took my ride, which didn’t make sense to me. Why didn’t they ask if it was me. I got angry and told them to send another one to pick me up. An hour passes and nothing. So I called back and was told they had to check to see if anything was available. What!! I told them what they needed to do and now. I waited and waited at the designated area in the hospital. Another half hour and they pulled up asking was I the client they were looking for. After that was established I got In my ride and was told by the driver that he just got the order and came right away. I appreciated that and he got me home safe and sound but the route he took was the long way there. If I were paying for it, I would have insisted the shorter way. Since I didn’t I said nothing but thought I see what you’re doing. I’m a little curious how much he put on the voucher. Don’t get me wrong it was a pleasant ride, that’s why I did tip him when I got home. I appreciated the fact that he waited until I got in the house safely.

This company and app are a waste of your time. I booked trip in advance a car for an early morning pick up of 4:15 am via the app for an airport drop off. I received a confirmation email that stated Ztrip received my advance booking request, but advance bookings are not a “reservation”. My ride will be deemed confirmed once I received the driver’s information. If there was no driver available I would be notified via the app. After reading this I immediately reviewed my advance booking via the app and I noticed ZTrip reserved a luxury auto for my trip ( I originally selected a standard economy auto), I attempted to revise the vehicle and could not do so. I called the telephone number on the website and spoke to someone that cancelled the original bookings because he could not simply change the type of vehicle. On the morning of my trip I checked the app, there no notification stating that there was no driver available. At 4:15, there was no driver so I called ZTrip, and was told they are trying to find a driver. I told the representative, if they cannot find a driver within the next five minutes, cancel my booking. These people had my cellular number, I should have been told they were still searching for a driver. Luckily, I requested an Uber (which I should have done), but I did not want to pay the double fee for reserving a car. I made it to the airport on time. To add insult to injury the driver called me at 5:00 am to say he was at the location waiting for me, I hung up on him.

So , I got scammed for 90$ by one of the ztrip driver. So my ride was from airport and I asked the ztrip cab and showed ber the address in my phone and she said it will cost around 40$ -50$ and then she started, By the time I realised I was going in wrong direction the taxi meter was around 45$ and then I asked her about the address and she said the address was not same . And after that I told her to stop at any of the gas station and the she deliberately missed all the exits and said that nearest gas station is 10 min away and the airport is 15mins away and I told her to take to airport and then I told her I don’t have more than 90$ because the meter was already 90$ by that time and after I said that she dropped me off at gas station and left me in the cold night. Again I need to call my friends to book a Uber for me . This is my bad experience with z trip and never going back to these scammers again .
