I would be crazy to use this service ever again
My driver was rude from the moment he pulled up. Before I even got into the vehicle he said oh I wanted to make sure I got this fair it’s going to Mount Lebanon and I know you’re going to take care of me because it takes a lot of money for me to go there. I only had to go 1 mile. The entire time all he talked about was how rich the people are in Mount Lebanon and how he could not afford to live there and how much gas cost and how he was doing me a favor by picking me up. When I got to the top of the hill I told him to turn right instead he turned left and went out because he said he knew a shortcut which was about 3 to 4 miles out of the way and then he had to turn around and come back the right way so instead my bill was now $14 for a 1 mile trip. Then to top it off I told him pull right in front of the building he pulls a half a block down from the building puts my groceries out across the street from where I live and leaves which meant I had to walk half a block up the hill making several trips with my groceries because this idiot would not pull in front of my steps so that I could just go into the building. I would be crazy to use this service again this is now The second time that this company has done something similar to me. I had a credit on my account that needed to be used that day and the driver would not said he could not use it so I had to pay him. Never again
Terrible service and stranded a senior citizen in the snow and freezing rain/snow
I scheduled a ride with zTrip to pick my mother up at the senior center at 5pm for a ride home to her house. They have this disclaimer that they won’t guarantee a ride and use that as a way to avoid responsibility for failing to be a taxi service. My mother waited in the dark and no ride appeared and no information that they had canceled the request. The senior center called the zTrip customer service and they were rude and unhelpful. They refused to send a taxi. The senior center director stated that she will not recommended this cab service to anyone after the interaction with zTrip. It took me two hours to drive up to give my mother a ride home. It was deplorable. I had scheduled future rides and when I went to cancel them after this experience, I found that zTrip had already accessed my account and had removed the rides from the scheduled section in my app without informing me. This is terrible service and I would use any other another service from this point forward. I was trying to support a traditional taxi service but no longer. The future is Uber/Lyft. It’s bad when you sink below the Uber standards for customer service. Shame on this company! They should be ashamed of their behavior.
Unreliable and a Let Down
I scheduled a 9:30 pickup for a noon Chiefs game, and did so the night before. The app noted my reservation and gave a reservation number. At 9:25 the day of the pickup, the app presented a screen saying ZTrip was kind of busy and was searching for a car. Then I got a call from a call service, which appeared to be a local cab company, asking if I still wanted a ride. I spoke with the app’s call service, the cab company, and maybe a dispatcher 4 different times. Each time I was told to wait 10-15 minutes and a car was on the way. After 50 minutes we got fed up and just drove ourselves. On the way, a rep called and said her supervisor told her it would be another hour before we got picked up. ZTrip has absolutely no plan for how to provide service that day. Totally bush league. Will never use again and will tell Chiefs they need a better ride share solution.
