Discovery Health App 12+

In concept this new way of booking appointments or finding doctors if it worked would be great.

Spent couple hours attempting to make a appointment for consultation with a GP nearby or even online.

Online appointments kept failing.

Finding an open slot for either in person or online consultation was very difficult trying to open each profile monotonously until you find a open slot.

Even then the allot of details on the doctors are out of date. Some doctors are listed at many practicians far apart from one another. So finding out at which one he/she is currently is difficult cumbersome process.

This app would be fantastic if the data was accurate and actually been utilized. So far it has just been frustrating.

Some updates to the doctor’s details and a method to filter by availability for appointments would be appreciated.

This new App is supposed to build on the previous App, but instead it provides less information and hardly anything is visible in the actual app. It keeps linking to the Discovery website in a browser window….which is not mobile friendly and requires yet another login. Every time you click to get to something in the App it opens up yet another separate browser page? Very little info is in the App. No face recognition to sign in either…which the old app had. Claims history info is totally incomplete, and provides no real detail either. Impossible to find any info….just goes in circles looping back to the Discovery webpage. The old app is much better. Will continue to use that one rather. This new app is not an improvement.
