Obviously anyone who uses the app wants to buy your product. Let’s make it easy guys.. please put in the following basic features, which you find even as far back as Ster-Kinekor’s app from years ago!
Default store? Why must I click through multiple menus when I only ever buy from the store near my home.
Reorder button. How about, right off the bat, a simple list of last 5 orders and a one click reorder? Checkers does this easily.
Favourite items. You can “heart” an item but it does nothing helpful.
Basically ordering in the app is horrible. Even the search bar, why do I have to only search in a category. Who is this helping?
Lastly, your backend system is very slow. It can take 20 minutes for an order to reach the store. What’s the point of ordering in advance?

I’ve lost count of how many ‘new apps’ we’ve had to remove and reinstall for a ‘better experience’. Every single time I walk into a branch I am unable to login. This is not a date or internet issue. Minutes before I was just checking my checkers and Starbucks apps, happily redeeming points and streaming a podcast. In an attempt to collect points or browse the menu, I’m consistently unsuccessful. When the cashier asks if I have the app I have to explain that I can never log in to which she pulls a sad face obviously having no other solution. I love Kauai but man this app is relentlessly disappointing.
And if I do manage to login to order ahead? I browse to my 3 favourite locations, to which it tells me the first few times that I have none. Then when it does load them, they’re all conveniently offline. What’s the end goal here guys? There’s another level of loyalty that comes with being a Kauai customer because of this but gosh I don’t have the points to prove it.
Let’s maybe give the app some unbiased QA?

Totally stupid that I have to log in each time I want to use the app. Over and over.

Also, the delivery address for orders auto-completes and detects my location on this new app and it doesn’t pick up my home address correctly. On the old app I could manually type in my delivery address 100% correctly. On this new app it auto-detects my address and then fills in the incorrect address. I have also placed orders for pick-up on the new app that the store never received. New app is completely useless since I can’t rely on ordering either for collection nor pick-up. The old app was very useful and I ordered all the time. The new app is only helpful to earn loyalty. The ordering functionality is unusable on this new app.
