Hi, i would like to give special thanks to Mzolisi the excellent friendly waiter, Tsholo with friendly assistance and great service and last but not least, Jones the artist Barista. You have never seen such art on coffee. And the managers the cleanliness fast service, smiles and ambiance of the place is awesome! Thanks Grove Mugg and Bean, never been dissapponted

Too many app updates

Bro Pie
The app, powered by YOYO, is always updating. I use my app at least once a week and every 2 weeks I get to the counter and open the app only to be held at a loading screen. Not being able to access the QR codes to load points, I order without using the app only to see later that it needs an update again. It feels like a conspiracy. They promise you rewards for being loyal but then make the app in such a way that you are not able to use or access these loyalty rewards due to system updates.

A certain Mr. Jay
This app makes it seem like you can get a free coffee after downloading the app. This is technically true, but very sneaky. You won’t get a complimentary coffee upon your first visit, instead you will start earning loyalty points towards a free coffee. Only after purchasing approximately 7 coffees, will you have earned the amount of ‘beans’ needed for a complimentary coffee. Loyalty programs are great, but this is a very deceptive way to lure someone into one. 1star from me and I’ll not be using the app thank you. Lastly, this is a review on the app, not the restaurant chain. Mugg and Bean as a restaurant is great

We haven’t supported Mugg & Bean for several years due to the lack of quality control and absent minded staff (Blue Route Mall) At some point we must have signed up for this app which now turns out to be a deeply regrettable decision. Even after deleting the app, we receive text messages at 02:38 in the morning. Emails to their head office during the past month haven’t stopped this from happening. They are also potentially selling your details to third party marketing companies. Beware.
