Statuses not updated

Although the app works well and the reported issues were attended to promptly by the City of Cape Town, the report status on the app never got updated and all issues that have been addressed still showed a status of in progress. Prompt response from developer resolved the issue, including a follow up phone call.

It works, but not fast enough to make a difference

The app certainly works (for Ethekwini Municipality) since I am able to log faults and someone from the app always phones me to check that the issue has been resolved and they can close the ticket. However, they phone me 2 days after the problem has already been resolved. In order for this system to be efficient, we need to get feedback when the issue has been reported with the city officials and then the system needs to give feedback about the cause of the problem and expected turnaround time, but this info should come from the city, which is a lost cause, so I can’t blame the app. But, it is a step in the right direction. “Better than nothing” is still “better”.

User Friendly & Forward thinking

The app has an easy layout to follow and feels easy to report issues in my area. I like how I can see the issues reported in my area as well as you can upload photos. I look forward to seeing my area looked after through the services this app connects me to!
