Ratings and Reviews
Disaster
Login fails. Having to reconnect Investec account time after time. And the password reset email never arrives.
Really disappointing from a UX point of view. Never mind you could only buy shares in app but sell them on web. No continuity.
ThinkTrader or MT5 are leagues ahead.
App does not work or not compatible
Some buttons do nothing. The scope of the trading graphs only go to one month history , adding favourites does not work can’t even buy stocks as the buy button is broken
Far worse than competition in a number of areas
This app is really user unfriendly. Non-intuitive design compared to EasyEquities Impossible to sell a share. Transfers and withdrawals are irritating in that you can’t change the account you’re transferring from without going out of the ‘transfers’ section, and selecting the account in a different section. Same with deposits and withdrawals. Feels like the development team haven’t done proper testing and didn’t learn enough from EasyEquities. Also, entering amounts to buy doesn’t work if you use ‘monetary value’ instead of ‘lots’ option (at least it didn’t for me).
It is nice that they have margin and options trading available and the direct link to the Investec account is a plus.
Overall the dev team need to do better. Otherwise there’s no chance I’m moving the majority of my business.
