Promising but disappointing

Been experiencing many bugs but the most frustrating thing is that no virtual card (where the cvv changes every hour) can be created as a default card, it expects the cvv to be static, so you need to delete and add the card again each time you want to use it and this is where problems have been encountered. I don’t want to have an ordinary card loaded as it is a security vulnerability having card details stored with your cellphone company. Additionally there is no upfront advising that the “wallet” can only be used once it has been upgraded even though money has been sent to it. So you are waiting and waiting and only days later you discover why you haven’t received.

Vodapay App

Great app and easy to use. I am not a tech savvy guy but became comfortable quite quickly with navigating and purchasing. Moreover, I felt safe with providing my personal information because of the brand. Made my first purchase yesterday and was kept fully informed, end to end regarding the order, tracking and delivery. I would like to see more other brands on this app so that it can be a one stop shop instead of utilising different platforms for different purchases as people are very familiar and comfortable with the Vodacom brand as a trusted provider, Yebo Gogo 😀

Well done Vodacom, I’ll be monitoring future developments which I am very excited about.

Unsuccessful payments and poor service when you don’t have data

The app has good offers but sometimes when I make purchases they don’t go through. Instead it will take long to load then says error occurred or services timeout. I feel like this is done purposefully because when you buy cheaper data the payment goes through.

I also don’t understand why you must have data to access the app when you are trying to purchase data. You need to do something about this.
