Really good app that could be great

As well as the lovely aesthetics of this app it is great that they haven’t overwhelmed it with features, like some apps; what it does, it does very well. Buuuut, the lack of one simple feature means it doesn’t give me the instant “how am I doing this month?” view I want. The graph for each category has a ceiling line that represents how much I spent last month. However I want to see how I am doing against a limit that I have set myself (a budget). That is, it shows me that so far this month I spent less than last month, but that is meaningless if I crazily overspent last month (it does happen) - “up to now, you’ve spent £500 less than last month” doesn’t help if I really blew it last month - I might still be over the budget I set myself.

So, if this feature was present, I’d delete my other finance app, and would even think about the paid tier.

Wish I had this sooner!

Myself and husband have different banks and wages and direct debits all over the place! I’m constantly logging into both apps transferring money and seeing what’s going in or out and trying to work out what we have left as spare after bills are paid …..well not anymore! This app a has saved so much time stress and money as you can see instantly after linking both accounts what’s going in and out and allocate all the joint bills and spending to customised folders ! I can see a true reflection now of what we spend on shopping / petrol / treats etc so between both banks with just one click on the relevant folder, I don’t even have to get my calculator out… ever again !!! Well done creators! Very easy to use, link and allocate income and outgoings. I love the fact I can put a little emoji picture for each folder 😂 the little things like that really help you to personalise it for your own ease of use! I’m so impressed!

Developer Response ,

Saved money in minutes

What an app! When the price of an app is minus£240 within the first 10mins of using it you’ve got to give it 5 starts surely. It’s a beautifully laid out overview of where all your money is really going. My wife’s mobile bill was massive for no reason other than being 4 years old. Mine similarly too high. Switched to a great new provider right from within the app. Road tax being paid out on a car I sold months ago, all made much easier to spot than any of the online bank apps themselves. Even works with my Santander business account which didn’t even work with Santander’s own app for years. Amazing. One very happy customer. Update. This app is also essentially a comparison site, in that it looks at your bills and succinctly suggests a couple of better alternatives then makes it super easy to ‘switch’. Another £400 ish saved by the end of the year. It’s really very very good!

Thank you so much for the 5* rating! it means the world to us. We really appreciate it. So pleased you're finding our app helpful to track your spending, manage your budget, and keep on top of your bills. All the best - Everyone at Snoop HQ
