Early in my updraft journey but it’s a massive thumbs up from me ...

So obviously the app is new to the App Store - but my ‘journey’ so far with Updraft/Onpath have been faultless and quite frankly I can’t recommend them enough.

I wasn’t sure ethical and borrowing money could be spoken in the same sentence but it is what I was looking for.

I found updraft via social, then did some research (which? And various other things I came across)

I wasn’t in a financial hole but wanted an opportunity to do things better, with someone that would give me a chance and understand my finances were not just what you see ‘on paper’ or a credit report.

In short, I got a semi-substantial loan to cover the balance of some consolidation- at a very decent interest rate compared to my credit card and even balance transfer deals, and a very quick simple process of application and registration.

Pretty much seamless and I find the app the same. It’s simple to use, everything at a glance... easy to connect your bank if you want to and a credit score if you are interested in that too. I especially like being able to see the amount on my loan delet monthly in a simple visual way. That works for me.

If I had to sum up my experience with updraft, I’d say it’s like conversing with a ‘person’, not an app or a process... and that is what keeps me engaged. My plan is to pay off my loan and the. Use their guidance to accrue savings and manage my money well for the future.

Great service that has saved me hundreds from OD fees

My Graduate account was coming to the end of its interest-free period post-graduating which would of resulted in a daily OD fee of £1 per day. Not much in the grand scheme of things, but quickly adds up if you’re aiming to pay of your OD over 6 months.
I had £400 extra that I wanted to chuck into the account, but needed another £600 to cover the full cost of the OD. I approached Updraft a few months ago and received an incredibly competitive quote, with the £600 required in my account within a few days.
The OD was paid off, the graduate account was closed and I now have a small payment each month to cover the borrowed amount that can be tracked within their app.

Furthermore, despite taking out the loan over 12 months, I can repay early to receive a reduction in the interest payable on top of what I owed, which I anticipate I will take advantage off after Christmas.

TL;DR; Great service run by a team that provide flawless customer service and have resulted in saving over £180 in OD fees over 6 months.

Friendly, safe and AMAZING

I know this is early days for this financial app but this app has really helped me get out of some recent financial trouble resulting from the 2020 pandemic.
Very easy to use and friendly app, helping you to keep track of expenses, offering support and even giving financial assistance (subject to checks).
Their loans are extremely good if you get approved. Very very close to most bank loans with below 30% interest rates compared with other loan companies that have extortionately high interest rates.
I would strongly recommend you support this company as they could well be the lifeline you’ve been looking for!
